CEA Councils

The development of policy and delivery of programs specific to segments of the electricity business is the core mandate of the councils. The councils operate as semi-autonomous bodies within CEA, developing and delivering policy programming within their excusive areas of jurisdiction, and providing policy recommendations to the Board of Directors and Executive Committee on those policy files which have an implication beyond their specific business concerns.

The CEA councils are organized to address the following business areas:

• Generation
• Transmission
• Distribution
• Customer
• Power Marketing
