Customer Council
Collectively CEA's Customer Council members provide electricity service to over 7 million Canadian Customers. The Customer Council’s Vision is to continually improve the service value for Canadian electricity consumers. The Council focuses on industry, federal policy and regulatory issues related to “customer” components of the electricity industry.
Member Benefits
Customer Council members participate in 4 meetings per year. The Council is focused on providing value to its members:
- Council meetings provide an opportunity to liaise with other utilities across Canada and develop actions and strategies to deal with issues of common interest.
- Council members benefit from participation in the many initiatives supported by the Council and share in the results of these initiatives, including the economy of scale that is realized from joint undertakings.
- There is the opportunity, through sharing of experience, to save time and resources. Best practices sessions focus on the results of initiatives undertaken and invested in by other members creating the potential to learn from and benefit from this acquired experience and expertise.
