Canadian Utilities Awarded for Excellence in Sustainability

OTTAWA, Ontario – June 14, 2012. Five Canadian electricity companies were recognized last night for their commitment to sustainable development under Canadian Electricity Association’s Sustainable Electricity program. The awards, evaluated by the program’s independent Public Advisory Panel, recognize companies for their leadership, innovation, and collaboration with stakeholders in pursuit of sustainable business practices.

A total of five organizations were presented with awards in four categories – Sustainability Company of the Year, Environmental Commitment, Social Responsibility, and Economic Excellence. For full news release <<click here>>.
