Electric Vehicle Dealership Awards Program
The Annual Canadian Electric Vehicle Dealership Awards Program recognizes car dealerships and, new this year, utilities that demonstrate leadership in the sale of electric vehicles (EVs).
New category, Canadian utilities who promote electric vehicles are eligible for the new Tom Mitchell Leadership award. Canadian dealerships selling electric vehicles are eligible for three award categories in 2016.
While anyone can nominate a dealership or utility, the nomination process requires information and approvals that must be provided by the entrants. Entrants are encouraged to self-nominate.

Recognition for your dealership/utility as a leader in the adoption of EVs in Canada:

The 2016 EV Dealership Awards Program includes four award categories, with one winner selected for each:
LEADING BATTERY ELECTRIC VEHICLE (BEV) DEALERSHIP AWARD
For the 2016 Awards Program, this category is open to car dealerships in the Provinces of Quebec, Ontario and British Columbia with BEV sales in 2015.
LEADING PLUG-IN HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLE (PHEV*) DEALERSHIP AWARD
For the 2016 Awards Program, this category is open to car dealerships in the Provinces of Quebec, Ontario and British Columbia with PHEV sales in 2015.
ELECTRIC VEHICLE DEALERSHIP INSPIRATION AWARD
For the 2016 Awards Program, this category is open to car dealerships in any province or territory with BEV and/or PHEV sales in 2015.
TOM MITCHELL ELECTRIC VEHICLE LEADERSHIP AWARD
NEW IN 2016!
This category is open to any electrical utility in any province or territory that had a utility-led electric vehicle and/or charging station program in place in 2015.
*All references to PHEVs include also Extended Range Electric Vehicles (EREVs).
Nomination entries will be evaluated by a volunteer Judging Committee comprised of experts who are champions of EV adoption in Canada.
The Judging Committee will consider four elements in its evaluation of nominations.
- Access the 2016 Entry Form and Entry Checklist included in the 2016 Nomination Guide, the 2016 Dealer Entry Form, and/or the 2016 Utility Entry Form.
- Prepare the nomination documentation as per the 2016 Entry Checklist in the 2016 Nomination Guide.
- Submit the nomination documentation by email, mail or office delivery for receipt by the deadline. Nominations close July 11, 2016 at midnight.
The presentation of the 2016 Awards will be at an event held in Toronto to underline National Drive Electric Week which runs from September 10 to 18, 2016.
