Performance Excellence & Benchmarking

CEA’s Performance Excellence & Benchmarking Program focuses on the current challenges of the electricity industry, gathering input from utility company management, subject matter experts, CEA Board and Councils to define areas for measurement and improvement within utilities. These improvements include:
 

  • reduced costs
  • improved system and equipment performance
  • increased operational efficiencies
  • increased employee safety
  • improved customer satisfaction

 

Mission

To enable member companies to leverage benchmarking data to drive business improvement within their own organization.
 

To achieve this mission, the Performance Excellence team works with its committees to move from data collection and definition of performance indicators in order to enable companies to make improvements.
