Electrifying the Future: Innovative Solutions to Support the Clean Grid - Session hosted at GLOBExCHANGE

Electricity Canada will be hosting a session, Electrifying the Future: Innovative Solutions to Support the Clean Grid with industry leaders at GLOBExCHANGE on February 28, from 2:30 – 3:30 at the Sheraton Centre Toronto. With over 80% of electricity generation being carbon neutral, Canada has one of the cleanest grids in the world. However, there are interconnected complexities at play which could impede our ability to reach a net-zero economy by 2050. This roundtable session with industry experts will take a solutions-oriented approach to help address problems such as increased electricity demand, grid reliability and resiliency with an aging infrastructure, as well as current established policy and regulatory frameworks. Together we will look to find solutions that will allow us to move closer towards a net-zero future.

GLOBExCHANGE will bring together the leaders and decision makers who are ready to take action to drive a net-zero future, including corporate executives, investors, policy makers, clean tech and service provider executives, NGOs, young leaders and advocates. The program is focused on advancing GLOBE’s 10x10 Action Plan which was developed out of diverse conversations at GLOBE Forum 2022. Together, we will facilitate the exchange of solutions, skillsets and dollars required to accelerate a sustainable future.
