All organizations struggle to plan ahead while providing the best service to their customers. There has not been a more important time for utilities to understand how data can be used to best engage with customers to predict what their needs will be moving forward.
This session will highlight how utilizing data within your strategies and planning can create a more data driven grid, today and for the future.
Capgemini will speak to how utilities are sitting on a goldmine of data that goes mostly underutilized today. Building a future-ready grid that delivers electricity in a reliable, affordable, and more efficient way requires utilities to tap into this goldmine and turn data into insights that support grid planning and customer engagement. Developing a data strategy and governance model builds the critical foundation to leverage AI and other new technologies that can help create a better electricity system. This won’t happen overnight, but now is the time to embark on this “data” journey and take a smart, stepwise approach to achieve tangible outcomes in the short-term and build the foundation for the future.
Environics Analytics (EA) will speak to the art and science of how data can unlock and paint a clearer, wholistic view of customers. Providing valuable insights and an opportunity for organizations to evaluate not only who their customers are and what they are doing today, but their goals in the future.

Speaker Bios:
Allen Davidov - MBA, CM. is the Senior Vice President, Practice Leader of the not-for-profit, energy, and tourism sectors at Environics Analytics. With over twenty years of experience in marketing, analytics, and fundraising, he has worked with organizations of all sizes to unlock the value of information in decision-making and business strategy.
Andrea Nuesser - As the Grid Modernization Leader at Capgemini Canada, Andrea focuses on developing smart grid solutions and growing Capgemini’s grid modernization practice which helps clients meet their business objectives and energy transition needs. Andrea has leadership experience at a utility and at a public opinion/consulting research firm. She holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of British Columbia.
