Francis Bradley, who has been with Electricity Canada since 1986 and its CEO since 2019, is retiring at the end of September. Francis made the following announcement to staff on March 24:
"This summer marks 40 years since I joined (what was then called) the Canadian Electrical Association. I will retire from Electricity Canada at the end of September.
Thank you to the Board of Directors for your support and trust as I adapted to the CEO role seven years ago. It has been an honour working in this vital sector.
The highlight of my career has been these years leading the passionate and dedicated team at Electricity Canada. Special thanks to Chair Gary Hart and the Executive Committee, who will soon begin an executive search for my successor.
I will remain in my role during the transition and support the process while continuing to advocate for our members over the next six months."
