Lori Clark, President and CEO of New Brunswick Power is honoured with Electricity Canada’s Women in Electricity award

Vancouver (November 25) Lori Clark, President and CEO of New Brunswick Power has been awarded the Women in Electricity award at Electricity Canada’s annual Powering Partnerships Summit.

Co-presented with Women in Renewable Energy (WiRE), the Women in Electricity award is given to individuals who advance the important role that women play in the electricity sector, and to recognize leaders in Electricity Canada’s member companies that have worked to create a more diverse and inclusive work environments.

In her 35-year career, Lori Clark has worked in all aspects of NB Power’s business including finance, regulatory affairs, human resources, nuclear generation, transmission, distribution, and customer service. She is the first woman to lead NB Power in its 105-year history and she has distinguished herself through an unwavering commitment to authentic, inclusive leadership.

In 2023, Lori launched the Women’s Network at NB Power, a program designed to foster a more inclusive, supportive, and empowering workplace. She is also a strong advocate and mentor for women in the nuclear field and has been outspoken on the need for female engineering graduates to meeting Canada’s energy goals. Her efforts have inspired future leaders and have reinforced the importance of inclusion and diversity across the company and in the electricity sector.
