Electricity Canada’s team is represented by five units including Regulatory Affairs and Best Practices, Government and U.S. Relations, Communications and Marketing and Membership Services and Business Development. Units work together to advocate on behalf of their members, deliver a national analytics program and produce professional, industry wide reports. The team is governed by a Board of Directors representing Electricity Canada’s membership.

Francis Bradley
President and CEO
Francis Bradley is the chief representative and spokesperson for Electricity Canada and its membership, focusing on finding solutions to the most critical issues of national concern to the electric utility industry. He is also the host of the Flux Capacitor Podcast.
Julia Muggeridge
Vice President of Communications and Sustainability
Julia leads Electricity Canada's oversees communications and marketing work as well as its work in sustainability, member services, events and corporate partners. She is Chair of the Board Committee on Energy Security and leads the Public Affairs Strategy Group.
Richard Lussier, CPA, CMA
Vice President of Corporate Services & Treasurer
Richard manages all of Electricity Canada's fiscal responsibilities, including budgeting and financial reporting to the Board Executive Committee. He oversees internal operations, and assists with corporate governance.
Channa S. Perera
Vice President of Regulatory and Indigenous Affairs
Channa provides leadership and guidance to Electricity Canada’s Regulatory Affairs team on all strategic and operational policy issues facing the electricity industry. He also oversees several industry committees and programs, including Human Resources, Diversity and Inclusion, and Indigenous Relations.
Michael Powell
Vice President of Government Relations
Michael is responsible for providing strategic advice to Electricity Canada’s member electricity companies on how to advance the sector’s interests with government stakeholders through advocacy efforts in Canada and the United States.
Diana Dominique
Senior Director of Customer Solutions and Sustainability
Diana leads Electricity Canada’s Customer Council and all customer service-related committees. She oversees the Sustainable Electricity Program and associated working groups.
Brittany Botting
Director of Generation
Brittany spearheads Electricity Canada's Generation Council, which leads the company's strategic advocacy on issues and policies related to the generation of electricity and clean energy. This includes working with government partners and stakeholders on environmental issues including climate change and electrification.
Daniel Gent
Director of Transmission and Reliability
Dan manages Electricity Canada's Transmission Council, Legal Committee and Technology Committee, the reliability program, and their related working groups. These groups focus on the development of policy positions and advocacy priorities relating to their operations.
Faran Mirza
Director of Business Development and Events
Faran manages Electricity Canada's business and sales relationships with stakeholders and corporate partners. He coordinates and oversees all virtual, hybrid and in person Electricity Canada events from Councils and Committees to the Board level.
Graeme Burk
Director of Communications
Graeme communicates the work Electricity Canada is doing, and what it is advocating for, to the public, media, external and internal stakeholders and government through various channels. He coordinates external communications (including media relations, speech writing, reports, digital and social media).
Jay Wilson
Director of Energy Security
Jay is responsible for leading strategic advocacy efforts in both physical and cyber security, as well as supply chain and U.S. Affairs.
Julie Neelin
Corporate Secretary and Manager, Finance Program
Julie is responsible for ensuring effective corporate governance of the organization and provides goverance support to Electricity Canada's Board of Directors. She also manages Electricity Canada's Finance, Tax and Accounting Program.
David McKendry
Senior Fellow
David is an advisor, counsel and mentor to Electricity Canada staff, on all programs and councils. He leads the organization's educational outreach programming including Electricity Fundamentals in Canada (EFiC) and high school electricity resource, Electricity Now!
Terry Toner
Senior Fellow
Terry is an expert in environmental stewardship and compliance. He provides expert advice on Impact Assessment, the Fisheries Act and other regulatory and permitting regimes that impact the operation of generation facilities.
