This award is given to an individual who has demonstrated outstanding leadership on sustainability issues within the electricity sector. This individual has driven innovation and meaningful change within their company and/or the broader communities that they serve. Their contributions have demonstrated a measurable impact on people and the planet, setting an example of sustainable practices for the entire industry.
Details to include in the application:
- Describe the sustainability accomplishments of this nominee at the workplace. Include both quantitative and qualitative examples of these accomplishments where possible.
- Provide evidence on how this individual has affected positive change, continuous improvement and innovation within the company and/or the communities that they serve.
- Describe how the nominee has contributed to the broader success of the electricity sector. In what ways do these accomplishments set them apart from others in the industry, and how do they serve as inspiration for peers and future professionals?
Scoring information:
Scores will be calculated using a weighted average, for a total score out of 10. Each submission will be evaluated by our external judging panel across four categories: impact, innovation, inspiration, and initiative.
Impact (35%)
Clear and measurable impact on an environmental, social, or governance issue.
Innovation (30%)
Use of innovative approaches, strategies, or technologies to address sustainability challenges.
Inspiration (25%)
The extent to which the contribution inspires sustainable change across the electricity sector.
Initiative (10%)
The extent to which the individual has taken action beyond their formal role to advance sustainability.
